Notes About The Poem

Your Poem

And now all gone
The past I knew
Before I touched
Your face.
Life filled to burst,
No longer do I thirst
For grace.
Your laughter,
Your touch,
The eyes I love so much
Releasing dreams,
Buried long ago.
Now free to grow.
What was life
Before you came,
If lovely, not more now?
What pray tell
Great powers moved
To bring you here somehow?
Unfold, my flower.
Today is golden.
Life will be your poem.
