Your Poem

Today, as random thoughts were passing through One came along which took my mind to you These days, they come around now and again I guess because you have become my friend My thought, per chance you showed up at my place How you'd react when my dog licked your face It made me laugh when I thought of your smile A pleasant thought that lasted quite a while I wrote this poem for you, so I could share That happiness, to let you know I care Tomorrow, if your thought passes my way I know for sure that it will make my day by Daniel Turner

Went back a bit. This has a nice feel, sort of familiar. Simple and sincere. Be well, Daniel.

Great poem. Loved the sentiment, especially the dog licking face. Love dogs. I have been out of action for about 3 months. Broke hip and leg. Still slow on a walker. Just got back into poetry. Blessings, Vivien

This just plain charmed me, Daniel, and left a smile on my face ... I know not who it's written for, but I think perhaps for ALL of us who find your friendship and kindness so valuable! May that be returned a hundred-fold, my friend! Congratulations on your SECOND PLACE in the 'My Muse, Mortal' Poetry Contest! :-)
