Your On a Pedestal

To me your so high like a king in the sky I can hardly reach but ill try.

I'm just a peasant trying to feel the clouds, But I know the task won't be easy your
not simple and that's makes you my type.

I am as complex as you can get and as easy to conquer as cement
but I can be reached if you know how to approach me.

To me your on a pedestal so many people below you but above me fighting for that secret
spot that special position.

I reach out with my arms trying to get one touch, why do I always fall for the guys on
a damn pedestal. Circled by friends... so intimidating.

Your so unreachable but yet I can still detect your smiles.

You seem to notice from a far maybe our connections some how got crossed but I just want
you to know that your on a pedestal.

Always will be so on top of the world... I dream of conquering it and making you my boy
if only I could break this crowd that blocks your attention.

Always on a pedestal... Why do I do this to myself.

A shy girl seeking an outgoing boy these things never work but maybe it's why I like
it. The challenge... I like a chase and since your on a pedestal your my next target
until you fall off then I quickly lose interest.

But maybe not this time... maybe a fall might be nice so I can finally taste you from
down here and see for real if I like the pedestal on my level.
