Your Memory
I showed up for work on Sunday morning
'Guess somehow I forgot which day it was
Lately, that's the way my life's been going
Reality and me are losing touch.....
But it's your memory...not mine
That's causing this confusion in my mind
If you've forgot so easily....
All the love you promised me...
Then it's your memory....not mine
Last night I wound up on Ms. Johnson's front porch
She reminded me I live two houses down
If I'm not thinking straight, Hey it's no wonder
I've just watched my world come unwound
And It's your memory...not mine
That's causing this confusion in my mind
If you've forgot so easily....
All the love you promised me
Then it's your memory....not mine
