Your Love Felt Home Inside My Heart

All night and day with dread I felt The looming departure for your new home In just three weeks you curled yourself inside my heart You, a foster puppy, so cute you stole away my heart Even though I tried so hard to deny the love I felt You bought joy and laughter to my happy little home Now you have gone, off to your forever home And have left behind a little emptiness in my heart Yet so glad am I to know this love I always will have felt The feelings felt have found a home in my tenderest of heart

Who wouldn't fall in love with this adorable pup - I know and feel how you felt but at least you know your beautiful pup is happy. My Labrador who I loved so very much died at 3 years old from Leukemia - have written a poem - "Hello and goodbye Coco" Blessings Jennifer.

I am looking at this darling puppy and know how hard it is to let one go, for I had to find homes for seventeen of mine once and it tears your heart up. Your poem sounds full of optimism and hope even though I believe part of you is mourning. Just look at that face!

Wow Caren, 17! I just can't imagine...This little guy we named Clark SuperPuppy. He was such a little smartie...his sister is missing him terribly while we search for her home.

Aw, you've penned a tale of TRUE 'puppy love!' Tough to let go. Cheers, Gershon
