Your Love and Heart

I carry with me, Your love and heart, The love you gave me, In the beginning, You told me to hold to it, And said that one day, I might need it, So on this day, I will use it now, To help me through, My deep dark night, And give me strength, Where I am weak, To guide and light the way, As I sleep, To watch me close, So I don’t have a lethal dose, And wake me up tomorrow, Feeling good and refreshed, You said I might need it, And you were right, I will use it again, If I need to another night, For your love and heart, Will never be out, Forever and always without a doubt.
