Your Love
Girl your love is like the leaves that cling to the branches of a tree
the stem of my heart that will never be rooted up, the grass-root stuck beneath my love
you are my companion, my soulmate, my friend, the girl of my life and my future wife
you are the words written in my poetry, the lyrics to my tune, my everlasting fortune
We are like birds that reside in their nest
and the breeze that moves through the night, you are the pleasure in me
the emerald of my heart that will never depart, and the love that will never stay apart
The two of us together when combine makes one
a love that signifies the best, a gold that we have both won
you will always remain apart of me, in my love, in my heart.
