Your Light, Heart, and Hands

Your light, Your heart and hands
It's hard for us to understand
Let alone to try to live
The life that You have planned.

To cast the dark away
To spread Your holy love each day
Doing what You'd have us do
And saying what You'd say.

For shadows quickly fall
And often hearts ignore Your call
The world drains us of strength,
We fear to give at all.

So...

Shine forth with Your light
Lead us, guide us out of night.
Pour love into our hearts.
Teach us all Your holy arts.
Take our hands in Yours.
Show the way through heaven's doors.
Help us all to understand
And be Your light, Your heart and hands.
