Your Life’s Enemy

Through all of life’s heart aches, and with it’s pain,
the darkness gathers, to collect it’s gain.
Through all the suffering, and all of our tears,
we’re washed away, by our doubts and fears.
There are doors that we open, unto the night,
and with our soul, they truly fight.
We walk around, a mask covering our face,
lest someone see us, with disgrace.
All along deep inside, you know we all feel it’s pain,
to wear our masks, gives the darkness gain.
Let go of the hurt and pain, heartaches with it’s strife,
begin to focus on the good things in your life.
It doesn’t take much, to make them you see,
it’s keeping them, is hard for you and me.
What we focus on, is the paths that we take,
where there is no vision, we begin to flake.
Only what the butt can endure, the mind takes in you see,
so don’t give a place, to your life’s enemy.
