Your Lies
as the sun slowly fades away
i finally have your answer
i usually don't take hints
but i can tell u don't want me for forever
what is it i did?
what is it i didn't do?
i do not understand
just give me a clue
i loved you and only you
with all i ever had
and now that i'm leaving
you're not sad, more like glad
if you only knew
how my heart is crying out
to just be with you
do you even know what love is about?
you told me all your lies
and i took them as the truth
no need thinking twice
or digging like a sleuth
how can you do this
to someone who only cared
how can you sleep at night
treated me so wrong, can't believe you dared
i would have done anything
just to be with you
that is no lie
because what i say is true
didn't you learn
how to treat other people
or is this just one more time
in your lonely little sequel
you act like a child
and i don't know why
enough wondering
i'm just going to sit here and cry
