Your Lacustrine Beauty
YOUR LACUSTRINE BEAUTY
In the wasteland the tormented life made me make
The repentance wander in the wild conceding the mistake
The nimbus clouds hovered overhead but I couldn’t take
The rains, they dried making a desert for me in the wake
Until you came, created an oasis where you became a lake.
You made in my deep depression torrents of fluid joy to flow
In your tranquil depths you drowned my deranged sorrow
The breeze on face made ripples of smile in a charming show
Flooded by sunshine my dancing reflection I see on you glow.
In your sensuous serenity you dissolve my somber sky’s blue
I see all the hues of my twilight colors gleam in glory on you
Where the flight of ecstasy takes me then you don’t have clue.
If the drought of distress desiccates your desolate floor dry
My tears would flow to your core to fill you with love, I’d try.
For I don’t want to see the lacustrine beauty you ever lose.
When the squalls of tough times would give my life a shake
I’d sink within your placid water, still as the cosmos, below
Discover the bliss in me your aquatic touch would grow anew
On dreamy nights on the arms of your moonlit shore I’d lie
Drenched, I’d soak you deep within, keep in my heart close.
