Your Invisible Light

You’re a single light beam
Of love’s colour spectrum
Your waves follow behind
I see the beauty you hide
You don’t, you’re colour blind

Your vibrancies make a rainbow
Even the invisible light you glow
Only a few are privileged to know
Deep within that you fail to show
But my x-ray will reveal to you

I pray you never fade away
That your light will always stay
Washed by the fabric of time
What is unsighted remains the same
My sight will fail me someday
My heart will see you as the first day
