Your Heart

Look into your heart,
Is there not a place torn apart;
Torn and scarred from a love now long depart?

Look into my eyes,
To see the pain we share.
Though I’ve been hurt I won’t cry,
For I need to believe there is someone who care’s.

Let flow your tears,
Forget the past and lose your fears.
I’ll dry those eyes,
Make you smile and show the love;
 Then no more broken heart will
You have to brave.

I feel like I am looking into my own heart. Lovely write, you capture the broken heart with the will to love again so wonderfully.

Excellent write, I think we have all had a broken heart at one time or another.
