Your Haunting Face

Could it be you who's in my mind
flirting like a leaf in summertime
or is this merely an illusion,
or a dream deep in my past?

I hear the music from the sky
flow with a sad face in my mind
and it is coming all the while,
could it be you who's in my mind?

Very nice wording, Fred, so nice to meet u too, and thankxxx for the many comments and compliments on my poetry today... we have no great basketball teams on the East Coast that spark us to enjoy basketball as much as we do football... with a Dad and brother who played it was hard not to get crazy over football... like baseball too.. if u care to read "The Bronx Bombers" and "Sports Nut Craze" u might enjoy... keep writing and sharing ... luv.. Cleverly conceived! ('she' rather than 'her' I think, since she's the subject...) ...neat repetition of your first line brings the piece sharply into focus. Well done! Best wishes, Keith
