Your Guitar

I long to be that guitar
you take upon the road
be the serenade you sing to her
feel you wrapped around my soul.
She lays her head so softly
close upon your heart,
if there's one sure thing I know in life,
then I know that you'll never part.

Great poetry, Ann, and very topical because I'm just watching a live concert on DVD and being wowed by the guitar playing! Love, Nigel

Sweet cadence and rhyming... especially 'road/soul.' A lovely piece! Best wishes, Keith
