Your Golden Hug

.

       In each other's arms
          tightly embraced
with the warmth I receive from
                 no other

these words from the depths of
             his little heart
        past his precious lips

“I’ve been waiting for this Pops”

         “what’s that son”
whilst wrapped in his warm grip
          was mine query

     “Your golden hug Pops
          your golden hug”

                  Sigh
   az off to school he did trot
