Your God Is Too Small
Does God limit Himself? Might real God think that's wise?
Ask His child to be humble but feign a disguise?
Did Christ's death on the cross, a huge cost to Himself,
Not suggest there's more Truth left on heaven's bread shelf?
Don't you limit your God if YOU say He knows all?
Did disciple's see death on the cross as Christ's call?
Does mere servant grok treasures of Truth that Christ honed?
Is a God who keeps Word (in man's mind) then dethroned?
Are you shy then to pray? Think you're saving God time?
Do your poems ooze honey with no need to rhyme?
God's creation a logic where you have no stake?
Math and Science so difficult you don't partake?
When Christ calls us to miracles great than His
Is this Trumpian rhetoric, merely showbiz,
Bombastic pronouncements without legs to walk?
Or might Love be a poem whose words aren't hemlock!
