Your Foresty River Eyes

I guess I figured you’d be merciful to me You and your foresty eyes are made beautifully I guess I had an infatuation towards you And your lovely, foresty eyes that twinkle anew Like stars, you shine Wish you were mine Sometimes, I’m sick of trying At times, I catch myself lying Lying to myself once more Your foresty river eyes — they soar I adore you for the times we’ve spent There’s love in store for us all in this tent In this tent of happiness and cheer In this tent of joyousness and no fear Lying to myself once more Your foresty river eyes — I adore… I suppose I’m the one to blame for our sentimental rhymes You and your foresty river eyes have fallen away time after time Into the ocean of a thousand lies…I thought about times We spent in the autumn time after doing some summer haze crime Like the sun, you shine Wish you were truly mine Sometimes, I’m sick of sighing At times, I catch myself dying A little inside as the tide of life Sucks me into its shameful strife Wish you were truly mine Like the sunshine, sunshine Lying to myself once more Your foresty river eyes — they soar I adore you for the times we’ve spent There’s love in store for us all in this tent In this tent of happiness and cheer In this tent of joyousness and no fear Lying to myself once more Your foresty river eyes — I adore… Lying to myself once more Your foresty river eyes — they soar I adore you for the times we’ve spent There’s love in store for us all in this tent In this tent of happiness and cheer In this tent of joyousness and no fear Lying to myself once more Your foresty river eyes — I adore… I let it collapse — my rose pedals from my heart Best to keep it water under the bridge as I tear apart I guess I figured you’d be merciful to me You and your foresty eyes are made beautifully I adore them wholeheartedly to the core Now, let’s watch my wings as they soar
