Your Face

I may not recognize your face In the years as we grow old Your smile has always simply been My secret pot of gold Your laugh is like an angel's song That calms my deepest fears Your touch is full of confidence That's brought me strenth for years Your eyes are filled with honesty Built on honor and truth Your hair as smooth as fine spun silk Washed in the fountain of youth Your name is like ambrosia That's aged upon my lips Your beauty like the face of old That launched a thousand ships Even if I don't know your face I'll know you inside out I'll keep you sealed inside my heart So there can be no doubt

I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Larry. I am looking forward to tomorrow and what I might read of yours again. Never let your pen lay and dry out. The best to you in your writing endeavors whatever they may be. Love, Carol
