When you placed upon my finger that diamond ring and exchanged those vows with me
We both made a promise to the other one to forget about past history
But going forward, we both resolved, to do it hand in hand
For me only you and you only me – one woman and one man
And even though you may get bored hav’n the same girl every night
I’m gonna be your wife for the rest of your life and we’ll make it turn out all right
