Your Eyes

I hold you so close that I feel your breath Our hearts beating as one, so close I feel it deeply I find myself staring into your eyes, those pure pools of green Tarnished they are not by the pain you've felt Vibrant and with a glow that seems to draw me deeper I could happily live in darkness If the only light I had was your eyes Your skin is soft to the touch I feel electrified as I gently stroke my fingers down your face Down your back to your hips, the perfect resting place Our bodies entwined, perfection Our faces draw close, My breathing catches, I've suddenly lost my mind, I've fallen deeply into lust, Suddenly I feel the fear, What if, but maybe.... I can take it no more, Screw the consequences, You are worth the risk My hands are no longer gentle No longer tentative to the touch of you I'm urgent in my desire It's a burning passion that fights the cool night air You taste like heaven itself I can't breathe I don't want to breathe All there is to do is to stare into your eyes Those pools of green, that unearthly glow, the light in the night.
