Notes About The Poem

Your eyes

Always
your eyes
summon me
that evil glint
eyebrow raised
draws me deep
into your maze

One can fake
a smile, but
your eyes can't lie
as they pull me in
they already know
they will not,
cannot be denied.

Whatever did I do
wherever did I go
before your eyes
bought and paid
for my soul?
