Your Eyes

Your eyes Draw sighs And dewy dew From between my thighs Whenever I look into Your eyes Gray-green Irises Pupils ringed with gold That's your soul Shining through Never fails to thaw the cold Tantalize Mesmerize The number of beats In my heart rise Whenever I look into Your eyes Inspired by the Pen to Face, Face to Pen contest

I like what you have done here. It's a very good piece of love poetry without feeling the need to use 'ye olde' language. The structure is great in its novelty for a rhyme. It gives the poem a sense of humour without any loss of tenderness.

Your poem senses fulfilled, and pleasant with imagination. Your Eyes is packed with not just passion, but substantial love. Thanks. Jan
