Your Enemy Your Footstool
Don't be the enemies fool,
Or let him abuse you.
You don't need to,
Directly retaliate his way,
But God's with praise,
Worship, and prayer.
This strengthens God's,
Protective layer on you,
To do what you have to
Do and your enemy will
Then be your footstool!
They will come to you for
Help but won't understand,
But you will! Serving God
Gives a believer a thrill
And wheels to ride on
The boulevard of blessings.
Don't let the enemy lessen
You. You live right, do right,
And to them be a blessing.
The power will lessen and
You'll be empowered by
God's power and Your
Enemy will be your footstool!
