Did you ever dream of me?
Did you ever in your heart see
The true love that's between you and me
For the whole world to see
Deep inside your being, I see
What most long to be
Smart, sweet, loveable, and free
Is what your inner being is to be
Look me in the eyes
And never say any good-byes
Life is so short here
So in your eyes no tears
