Your Demise Is My End

I have a letter sitting here
All I can do is cry and stare
At the words I have just read
Sorrow starts to fill my head
Not knowing the reason why
My whole world wanted to die
The words were clear and understood
But there was nothing nice or good
About the way you tore apart
Every piece of my sad heart
I tried to think of anything
That went wrong and finally bring
An end to our relationship
But there was nothing I could grip
That would explain why you chose
To leave me when we were so close
Images and thoughts were flying
As I sat there really trying
To piece together and make sense
Of this tragedy against
Our life and whole future too
I don't know how I'll pull through
Without you by my side each day
Why'd you choose to go away
I need to find an answer soon
Or I'll wrap up in a cocoon
Hiding until the one day
My body shrivels and decays
And I join you once again
Walking hand and hand in heaven

Kelly has a habit of saying just what I was thinking, also. Very emotional and sorrowful, indeed. I'm with Kelly, also: hopefully the feelings will fade with time. Time cures all ills, they say. Well expressed, Sweet Pea <3 ~Chan

Such an emotional and sad write. The reader can feel the despair and the hopelessness in every line. I am sure that in time, these feelings will diminish. Very nicely written, Robin!...Thank you so much for the great comments, once again!
