Your Child Is Jesus

Your Child is Jesus

Take it soft, take it mild
That we don’t have a child.
We’re blessed from Above;
You and Me are in Love!
Jesus has no bodily father
He’s Son to every Mother
He was impaled on a Tree
Barren mother to set free.
No more shall we cry
Let our tears now run dry
Why shall we despair or fear
Our plea our Son will hear.

Thanks for visiting my poetry. The poem is a humble remembrance for those who despair due to similar adversity to look beyond it....and know that there's a free child everyone can claim hers/his!
