Your Brown Eyes

Your Brown Eyes

When I look into those brown eyes I look at what used to be,
when I look into those brown eyes I see what's slowly killing me;
those brown eyes used to be my safe harbor, my hope, my joy,
what I lived for.
But now those eyes are a cold bottomless pit that makes my heart split.
those brown eyes used to make my heart melt;
but now it brings a pain I've never felt.
So next time you look me in the eye,
don't be confused when I cry;
because the pain will never grow tired
When I look into
Your Brown Eyes
