Your Anger

Your Anger There comes a time into your life That your’e confronted with the strife Of normal thoughts you can’t retain As age progresses in your brain What happened to your vast recall You can’t remember things at all Anger erupts at this new invasion The keys, the toast or medication The list goes on as time goes by That slowly lights a little fire then creates a blazing ire Hopefully soon patience will gel Until that time your’e mad as hell Dancing with Description Contest Sponsored by Casarah Nance Ralph Sergi November 7, 2015

My senses in totality are in awe of your wonderful lines. Liquefied bliss from the boil of glorious words has brought out enchanting aroma beyond scaling. 7 is simply an underscore for this fine share.

hey, this is almost a sonnet . If revised it can also serve for mad as a hornet!! Touch it up into a sonnet!!! It's a great expression of our thoughts as we age.

Love this little light (tongue-in-cheek) poetry about losing the car keys, I mean my purse, I mean...What? Oh yes, about losing our minds. Interesting rhyme scheme & syllable count. You had to seriously use that thesaurus to get such excellent rhyming words that fit contextually. I applaud your endeavor here. The work paid off!

Very well expressed thoughts, Ralph. We accept that memory does weaken the older we get, but dementia is a harder pill to swallow. // paul

Hi Cheri: Thank you, but every time i submit a poem in the contest and I see the way other poets interpret theirs ,I often wonder if I should have added more imagery. Can you email me and tell me what you think , I value your opinion.
