Young Maiden Part 2

Young Maiden – part 2

Woke one dreary Sunday morning,
Looked out to see it was storming.
Hid my head under the cover,
Quietly thinking, I love her.
The music that lasted ‘til two,
And the wine reminds me of you.
Dreamin ‘til I hear a knockin,
Someone sets my bed a rockin.
Opened mine eyes to see who's there.
The young maiden who is so fair!
She’s come to be at my waking.
Even though she may be soaking.
I lay her down next to my head.
And together we lay in the bed.
To dream the dreams of last night’s love.
Until the sun is high above.
