Young Love

I love him in such a way
That life has never known.
I love him in such a way
Together we have grown.

We are the chosen few
Who have a lifelong bond.
Who cherish our love forever
Will last forever and beyond.

Why we’re we so lucky
We married quite so young.
What were we thinking, had been drinking?
What was that song they sung?

When I wake each day
And he goes out the door.
I say to myself a prayer,
Let’s live forevermore.

I know love and all it has to offer.
I love that man, all I can
Will never change one bit.
He’s the only one, the only one
I love him, he loves me, and never will we quit.
