Young Girl

Did not take me long
To remember who
Thought of way back then
I remember you

Manipulation
Was your secret game
Keeping my mouth shut
Feeling then ashamed

Tears and smiles were there
I was so confused
Was dark and punitive
When I was abused

Now is when I fight
Tell all that you did
By me speaking up
Couldn't as a kid
