You Try

You try to do right by
them.
You try to teach them
right from wrong.
Not always listing to 
you.
Not always hearing what
you have to say.
All you can do is take
it day by day.
And hope and pray that
something, something you've 
said, they would have
heard.
That they might have 
actually learned, what is
right and what is wrong.
