You Touch, You Move

Many wish they could change the past
Even more wish the present would last
But in a game of pawns, ranks, and kings
There is a rule that in true life rings
In any aspect; be it family, friendship or love
There is a rule that harsh reality will prove.

For even though time passes fast
This rule remains steady as a mast
Along with that rule, wisdom and care springs
Cast aside all wealth and honour and bling,
For as sure as blue skies hover high up above
As goes in this game, "You touch, you must move!"
