You Took Everything From Me

You took everything from me

My trust in people
Even when I should trust them

My faith
Even when I should believe

My strength
Even when I should be strong

My happiness
Even when I should be happy

My friends
Even when they should've been there for me

After all the things you took
I almost took my life
because I blamed myself they were gone

I tried to fill the never-ending void you left
even when it hurt
I thought I deserved that pain

I don't

You do
