You Told Me

You told me a sweet thing or two Which mad me fall for you You were the one That called me hun Told me you would stay But you went away You told me you would do anything But in reality you didn't do a single thing You told me you loved me But how could that be All you could do Is make me fall for you And every time It was a crime lLet me begin with We were just a myth You hurt me Look at my wrists and see One's a burn The rest are cuts that I earned The burn is a scar From a lit cigar The cuts were shallow at first But it soon got worse Every night I would hug my pillow tight And try to fight the tears With a couple of beers Next thing you know My tears start to flow But then my eyes got dry Until I remembered you told me goodbye I became afraid So I grabbed my blade I couldn't stand the thought of us being apart But your broke me and my heart Now on one can fix it So its time to quit I wont give no more second chances Not under any circumstances I do believe we Were meant to be But I guess I was wrong
