You Thought You Stole My Heart But It Was Always Mine
You want me to be me but you can't accept what I say
You want me to be thankful but you don't like the way I pray
You want me to follow knowing I will always lead
If you want my heart be ready for me to bleed
You tell me a story while I've already lived the end
You tare at my soul not knowing it's already on the mend
You want me to rise but I learn when I fall
You speak your words and I deaf to it all
I wanted a teacher to aspire to be great
You searched for love but it was always to late
You found me alone on the river of time
You thought you stole my heart but it was always mine
