You Think You Know Me

You think you know me
Look through my eyes to see
You don't know my fears,
Angers, what brings me tears
You see my pretty face
And curves in all the right places
You don't see the ugly rot inside
too far gone to be revived
You don't know my passions in life
or all my struggles and strife
You see me as loving and sweet
deep within is misery, no treat

When you look deep into my eyes
You see your own reflection
My eyes hide my fear and depth
your lust is for a misconception

You must break down my walls
To even begin to know the real me
when I speak it it is in truth
But I can tell a good story
