You Think You Can Control Me

If you were a friend of mine
Down until the end of time
And I left you a friend behind
Do you think there’s no reason why?

You can blame it on my mind
Claim the reasons you are blind
plead innocent to any crime
don’t understand why you’re behind

You can play it like a fool
avoid being accountable
be upset and miserable
make all appear my fault

And while you play it so clueless
it proves my point that you are useless
as you lie and make up excuses
Justifies why your not included

Because you never make mistakes
You clearly are a bunch of fakes
Failure to give but quick to take
This is why you’re not my mates

Thinking you are so damn clever
When you talk you talk forever
Sounding like you know much better
No close to you not ever

When I tell you go away
You say you’ll ring another day
And I tell you to go away
“We’ve made up is what you say”

People thinking we are cool
When they listen to your bull
Do I not get a voice at all
Get out my life you flipping fool

It is shocking but consistent
you lying with such insistence
suddenly I’m talking vicious
I had to you disrespect my wishes

You have to make yourself look good
as a result I’m misunderstood
If you’d Let it go like you should
I wouldn’t have said it the way it was

Now your seeking legal advice
my talk is truthful and it ain’t nice
but you ignored me all my life
and I’m sick of hearing all your lies

They think they’re so much better
more attractive and more clever
in my defeat your my successor
I get told “they think they’re better”

Something I have always known
now others can detect your tone
You ain’t got no one you’re alone
in a world you create your own

You’re lucky that I’m talking
you just ain’t worth the stalking
you need to stop your talking
You talk and no one’s falling
