You Tell Me

You tell me
~~~~~~~~~
Are you weeping because you lied?
I've been fooled too many times not to see the signs
To answer a question, yes I do care
And no I'm not a fool
I realized that you didn't ask that
So don't treat me as if I were
Are you crying because the truth hurts?
Yes there is a shred of sympathy left
Three, two, one, now that's gone
Harsh you say?
Oh so I'm supposed to take the short
Just because you want to have your cake
And eat it too
Take one for the team?
Uh no, that never turned out good before
Let's just say the venue has changed.
