You Stole My Heart

Theft of my heart
when first we met.
Your amber eyes
I can't forget.

Your smoky fur,
so silky soft,
so sensual,
not felt so oft.

Your quiet purr
announced your need.
I knew at once
that you I'd heed.

You kissed my hand
and then I knew
that to my home
I'd carry you.
