You Set Me Free

I was all alone
Drifting away
My mind was my new home
Did anyone care if I stayed

I looked all around
I needed someone to set me free
No one was to be found
Not one person could I see

Then came the day that I found you
You came in my time of need
Though I did not know it then
I was already being freed

Do you know what you did
Do you know how I feel
When I was scared I no longer hid
To you I can run because I know you are real

I just needed a shove
You helped and did it for me
It's you I'll always love
Because you set me free
