You Say You Love Me But I Don'T Know Your Reason Why

Is it because I have plenty of money, or  because I plainly do not?
I need to know what's on your mind, not only setting mine at ease.
I'm sorry for making you feel uncomfortable by putting you on the spot,
Now, tell me your reason, in and out of season, tell me please!

You say you love me but I don't know your reason why.
Come on, Man, tell this woman sweetie words I want to hear.
The fire in your eyes sends my heart racing sky high,
It  makes me beam from ear to ear, year after year!
You say you love me, hmmm, that may be your reason why.

You not only say you love me but show you really live the life.
Even while all your friends are here, you still sing to me down on your knees
All through our years and more so now, I'm so happy being Mrs. Your Wife,
In and out of season, I am your reason, it's me, you're wanting to please!

You say you love me, ooohhhh. Now, I know your reason why!
Yeah, Man, you tell this woman sweetie words I want to hear.

What inspired me to write this, is when I told a woman I loved her. She said, "Well, I don't know why." I was able to see both sides; my side of the view, expressing my love for her thru my actions.
