You Never Sleep

River deep
And wide
It boggles my mind how you never sleep.
Yet, you creep
Along very dignified.
River deep
Never saying a peep
In all kinds of vessels you give man and his 
Goods a ride.
It boggles my mind how you never sleep
You keep
Yourself owl eyed.
River deep
Where the dolphins leap
And hide
It boggles my mind how you never sleep.
People don't know your secrets or the treasures
You have had to sweep
Aside.
River deep
It boggles my mind how you never sleep.
