You Never

Lately i have felt so weak
and i know to you
these words seem cheap
but they bring me to my knees
i put myself before you
now tell me what should i do

these tears may fall from my eyes
but youll never see me
at my worst
ill look away
before i let you walk away
with a smile on your face

youll never gain the pride
of making me dead inside
you had my heart
but you never opened yours

no you never showed
an ounce of love
you swore was there
i always knew
you never cared
but i was too scared
to be on my own

i should have known
you were like the rest
love is so overrated
and lieing is all thats left

so i sit here
as you come across my mind
i push you away
as you did to me

i was just another face
for you to be seen with
your hand in mine
you were a waste of time
how i dread that place

now when i see you
i just look away
your just another face
passing me by
just know that
you had my heart
but you never opened yours

and now youll never have the chance
