You Mean the World and the Sky

My eyes have stared upon the vastness of the sea
They have witnessed, too, the setting sun
But there is no place I would rather be
Than here with you, my lovely one

For the sun will always be ruler to the sky
And too, the earth will always be wet by the sea
But, this moment now, between you and I
Defines just how much you so mean to me

There is no place that I’d rather be
