You Look Through Me
You look through me, my friend,
Like I’m not even there,
You look through with a gaze in your eye.
And the more you see
The less you care,
And your eyes just let out a sigh.
And I make you feel free,
Free to relax,
I make you forget all your woes.
You'll feel happy and chip,
Merry and up,
From your head right down to your toes.
You look through me, my friend,
When you’re not even there,
You look through me without any fear.
And the more you see,
The less you are,
I’m your regular bottle of beer.
