You Lied
You said you loved me but you lied,
it never mattered how hard I had tried.
The hurt and pain,
I cried like pouring rain.
You said you'd be there but never came,
Now who is it that I should blame?
So now your chance has come and gone,
and you will remain forever wrong.
Stupid is the way you made me feel,
the day I found love wasn't real.
I played the fool but never again,
I know now what I wish I knew then.
You taught me well and that's for sure,
now step away from my front door.
I've learned my lesson I hope you know,
you're heart will bleed forever slow.
Don't look now nor want me back,
for hurting me sympathy I lack.
Learn your lesson and get this through,
there's nothing left for me to say to you
