You Know Me Now

The slate is clean, you know it all, and you know my fates, where I shall fall.
I’m no longer the mystery from before, no longer closed,
I’m an open door.
Yet, you talk and listen all the while, I no longer can
Stand in denial.
The reason you stay is because you care, that’s alright with me,
You’re my breath of fresh air,
My sadness and sorrow, you do take away,
You make me forget and carry on with my day,
If anything were to come take you away, I would never give up,
I’d find you some way.
And if you did leave, I don’t know what I’d do; life would be too hard to be without you.
So, don’t leave me behind, don’t throw me away,
I don’t know how I would get through the next day
