You Judge But Do Not Know
have you grown
apathetic
excuses
nah
false reason
rules the day
they're not human
less than you
who should care
what should we do
the women holds her child out
it's starved shrunken
and soon to die
from going without
believing lies
hide your heart
let it sink
beneath the dark
and let them
trick your soul
making hate
carry the weight
of caring
away
not now
not soon
no never
will you learn
we're human
we love
we hurt
we yearn
not lazy not stupid
not on the level
of dirt
don't pity
don't judge
but treat
equal
before you act
and react
beginning to mistreat
judging and labelling
like a pack of meat
we are too
human
what would it be like
if the shoe was
on you
